Water: Water your plant thoroughly to ensure that moisture reaches the deepest part of the roots. As the plant is situated outdoors, water the plant frequently and thoroughly, ensuring the soil is moist but not soaked.
Soil: The plant requires loamy soil that drains water well for it to thrive. Loamy soil is friable. It consists of sand, clay and humus (organic matter that is partially or entirely decomposed). Some species grow in up to 6 metres tall shrubs, while other strong-growing vines can grow up to 30 metres in tree canopies.
The Actinidia arguta, also known as the hardy kiwi, is native to Korea, Japan, Northern China and the Russian Far East! It produces smaller kiwifruit, and unlike other species in the genus, the fruit comes without hair-like fibres.
