Plant Care – Aloe vitro
Light: When growing indoor, place the Aloe vitro near a window that gets plenty of bright, indirect light. When placed outdoors, provide light shade, especially during the hottest parts of the day
Water: Water deeply, but only when the soil is dry. Drain the soil well. These succulents do need regular watering but are very tolerant of drought conditions for short periods
Soil: Plant Aloes in a well-drained soil specially formulated for cacti and other succulents or make your own soil mix. Drainage is essential because too much moisture around roots can cause root rot.
Fertiliser: Little or no fertiliser is necessary. You can top dress the aloe with organic compost or worm castings every few months.
Humidity Requirement: 60-90% in the day, 70-90% at night.
