Plant Care – Arenaria montana Mountain Sandwort
Light: The Arenaria montana Mountain Sandwort thrives in full sun to partial shade. It appreciates bright sunlight but can tolerate some shade, especially in hot climates.
Water: Water your Arenaria thoroughly and ensure the soil is evenly moist. Water your plant whenever the top inch of the soil is dry to the touch, and make sure to water till some water flows through the pot’s drainage holes.
Soil: The Arenaria can tolerate most soil conditions but will thrive in a well-draining potting mix.
Fertiliser: Fertilise your plant with a general slow-release fertiliser or with a fertiliser formulated for flowering plants. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions when fertilising your plant. Slow-release fertilisers are generally recommended for consistent nutrients.
