Plant Care – Philodendron Narrow Escape
Light: Place your Philodendron Narrow Escape under bright, indirect sunlight and avoid direct sunlight, which will cause its leaves to turn yellow. Too much exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures will cause the plant to dry up and leaves to turn yellow and wilt.
Water: Allow the top surface of the soil to dry up between watering the plant. We recommend watering it once a week or whenever necessary. Overwatering your Philodendron can cause water beds, resulting in root problems. Droopy leaves are a good sign of overwatering. Therefore you should skip a week of watering.
Soil: The Philodendron thrives in a well-draining potting mix that can retain some moisture. Use an aroid mix or a chunky soilless mix for your philodendrons. We recommend SILLYSOIL Premium Aroid Mix, a 6-in-1 pre-packed chunky soilless mix with essential nutrients!
Fertiliser: Fertilise with a slow-release granular fertiliser. Over-fertilising can also result in the demise of the plant. Always follow the fertiliser manufacturer’s instructions when fertilising your plant.
