Plant Care – Sago Palm (Cycas Revoluta)
Light: Place your Sago Palm (Cycas Revoluta) at a location where it can receive medium to bright light, and it will grow at the optimum rate if given at least 6 hours of sunlight per day.
Water: Water them once every 7 to 10 days, depending on the size of the plant and its placement. Make sure the water flows through the draining holes while watering and does not sit in the soil.
Soil: It thrives in well-draining soil with media that does not retain much moisture as this prefer drier soil.
Humidity Requirement: Low – Medium
Fun fact about the Cycadaceae family: Cycas Revoluta is a species of gymnosperm in the family Cycadaceae, native to southern Japan, including the Ryukyu Islands. It is one of several species used for the production of sago and an ornamental plant. The sago cycad can be distinguished by a thick coat of fibers on its trunk.
