Plant Care – Dracaena Fragrans

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it may scorch the leaves.
• Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly. Dracaena fragrans is sensitive to overwatering, so it’s best to err on the side of underwatering.
• Soil: Plant in a well-draining potting mix, such as a mixture of peat moss and perlite. Ensure the pot has adequate drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.
• Fertiliser: Feed every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertiliser diluted to half the recommended strength. Avoid fertilising during the dormant winter months.
• Humidity: Dracaena Fragrans can tolerate average indoor humidity levels but will benefit from occasional misting or placing the plant near a humidifier, especially in dry environments.
