Plant Care – Buxus Bonsai
Light: Place your Buxus Bonsai where it can receive bright and indirect sunlight. Do avoid placing it under direct sunlight as it will scorch its foliage!
Water: Allow the top two inches of the soil to dry up inbetween watering the plant. Overwatering your Buxus can cause water beds, and this will result in root problems. It can withstand short periods of dryness, but we do not recommend leaving them dry.
Soil: The Buxus will thrive in a well-draining sandy, loamy mix. We recommend adding pumice together with your mix.
Fertiliser: Fertilising your bonsai with Bonsai Fertiliser once every six weeks during its growing period.
Humidity Requirement: Medium
