Plant Care – Caladium Lemon Blush
Light: Place your Caladium Lemon Blush under bright and indirect sunlight. Provide at least 4 hours of filtered sunlight from bright south, east, or west windows. Too much sun exposure can cause scorched leaves.
Water: Water your Caladium thoroughly and make sure that the soil is evenly moist. Water your plant whenever the top inch of the soil is dry to the touch. Therefore, make sure to water till some water flows through the pot’s drainage holes. In addition, we’d recommend watering once every week, however, do avoid overwatering your plant as it will bring about root problems.
Soil: The Caladiums thrive in fertile, well-aerated soil that drains water quickly. And therefore, they should not be placed in soils that are too compacted and heavy, which cause prolonged periods of water retention. And this can lead to root problems, for instance, root rot.
Fertiliser: Feed your plant monthly with liquid Fertiliser. Alternatively, you may use slow-release Fertiliser.
Humidity Requirement: Medium
