Plant Care – Cymbidiums
Light: Place your Cymbidiums in an area where they can receive an abundance of bright and indirect sunlight. Cymbidiums need lots of indirect sunlight and low temperatures. Cymbidiums need lots of indirect sunlight and low temperatures.
Water: When watering, water from above, ensuring that excess water can drain away. Do not allow the plant to sit in water. Let the soil dry out slightly before watering. Cymbidiums placed outdoors may need more frequent watering in warmer temperatures.
Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix like cactus or succulent soil for your Kalanchoe.
Fertiliser: Fertilise your Cymbidiums with orchid fertiliser. We would recommend following the manufacturers instructions when using their fertilisers.
Humidity Requirement: Medium.
Fun Facts about the Cymbidiums: Experts say that the Cymbidium has been cultivated for thousands of years and is probably the oldest cultivated orchid! The Cymbidium is also known for its ability to survive the winter season and colder temperatures!
