Plant Care – Callisia Repens Pink Lady

Light: Callisia Repens Pink Lady thrives in bright, indirect light. It enjoys around 4 to 6 hours of filtered sunlight each day, but it should be protected from intense, direct sunlight.

Water: Keep the soil evenly moist, but avoid overwatering, as the plant is susceptible to root rot. Water when the top inch of the soil feels dry to the touch. During winter, reduce watering frequency.

Soil: The soil for Callisia Repens Pink should be well-draining and rich in organic matter. A mixture of potting soil with perlite or sand for improved drainage is ideal for its growth.

Fertiliser: Feed the plant with a balanced liquid fertiliser every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid overfertilising, as this can lead to nutrient imbalances.

Humidity: Callisia Repens Pink Land prefers moderate to high humidity levels. If the air is dry, consider using a humidifier or placing a tray filled with water and pebbles near the plant to increase humidity.

Fun Fact about Callisia Repens Pink: Did you know? Callisia Repens Pink is not only a beautiful houseplant but also has medicinal uses in traditional herbal medicine. Some cultures use the crushed leaves of the plant as a poultice to help soothe skin irritations and wounds. Additionally, this plant is known for its creeping nature and can produce new plants through its runners, creating a lush and visually appealing carpet of pink and green foliage.
