What is SILLYSOIL?

SILLYSOIL is an adventurous proposition by The Green Corner, aiming to bring what we believe are the finest potting mixes. The potting mix(s) you see from SILLYSOIL have been tried and tested, and we know it works.

SILLYSOIL’s potting mixes strive to do the hard work for you and bring you a Premium pre-packed blend of the finest substrates dedicated to your plants so that you do not have to go through the trouble of finding out what works.

Why did we use these substrates? (Orchid Bark, Charcoal, Perlite, Pumice, Cocochip, Vermicast)

These substrates have different porosity levels, grain sizes and water retention capabilities and are mixed to give a balanced, well-draining potting mix that holds the right amount of water for your roots. Our recipe for the Premium Aroid Mix was created to allow your plants to breathe.

We also added Vermicast, known as worm castings, a water-soluble organic fertiliser made from earthworms, to add essential rich nutrients for your plant to continue its healthy growth.

When should I use SILLYSOIL Premium Aroid Mix?

SILLYSOIL Premium Aroid Mix should be used whenever and wherever they can! We highly recommend using them for your Anthuriums, Monsteras, Philodendrons or any aroids with thicker root systems.

We would also highly recommend using SILLYSOIL Premium Aroid Mix as a medium for propagation! Our Premium Aroid Mix has air pockets that allow your propagated plants to grow freely and strongly.
