Plant Care – Money Plant

Light: Money plants thrive in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. However, they may lose their variegation in low light settings.

Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly when watering, but avoid overwatering as it can lead to root rot.

Soil: Plant Money Plants in well-draining potting soil. A mixture of peat moss, perlite, and regular potting soil works well to provide adequate drainage.

Fertiliser: Feed monthly during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced liquid fertiliser diluted to half the recommended strength. Reduce fertiliser frequency in autumn and winter.

Humidity: Money Plants can adapt to various humidity levels, but they appreciate slightly higher humidity. Regular misting or placing the plant near a humidifier can help maintain optimal humidity levels.

Fun Fact about the Money Plant: Did you know? Money Plants are not only decorative but also effective at purifying indoor air by removing toxins like formaldehyde, benzene, and xylene.
