Plant Care – Sage Plant

Light: Sage Plant thrives in full sunlight. It requires at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily to grow vigorously and maintain its strong flavour.

Water: Allow the soil to dry out partially between waterings. Sage is drought-tolerant and prefers to be on the drier side. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Soil: The soil for Sage should be well-draining and lean. A sandy or loamy soil with good aeration is ideal for promoting healthy root development.

Fertiliser: Sage does not require heavy feeding. You can apply a balanced liquid fertiliser once or twice during the growing season (spring and summer) to support its growth.

Humidity: Sage prefers moderate to low humidity levels. It can adapt well to normal room humidity and does not require additional measures for humidity.

Fun Fact about Sage: Did you know? Sage has a rich history dating back to ancient civilizations. It has been used for its medicinal properties and as a culinary herb for centuries.
